No-show Policy

No-show Policy

No-shows will be excluded from the final IEEE Xplore proceedings.

A paper accepted for presentation at the 7th ICC will be considered a “no show” if any one or both of the following two situations happen.

  1. No pre-recorded video of the presentation is received by the deadline for uploading videos.
  2. None of the registered authors, nor a substitute speaker is present at the online session during the time allotted for the presentation of the paper.

A substitute speaker may stand in for the authors only under unavoidable circumstances, and must be a registered participant at the 7th ICC. Authors must write to the organizers in advance with details of the substitute speaker along with reasons for needing one.

In case an unexpected last-minute emergency prevents authors from being present during their scheduled talk, they need to write to the organizers with convincing reasons no later than a day after the scheduled talk. Any decision in the matter will solely be at the discretion of the organizers.
