Purpose and eligibility criteria:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>To recognize excellence in a conference paper whose primary contributor(s) is a (are) student(s).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span>Primary contributor(s) of a paper must be a student at the time of original submission.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> Nominations must be made by the student’s major mentor (advisor) through the awards portal of PaperCept (<\/span>https:\/\/controls.papercept.net<\/span><\/a>). The portal will start accepting nominations from September 25, 2026,<\/b> and will remain open till October<\/b> 5, 2026<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Eligibility for the award is contingent upon the paper\u2019s initial acceptance and the submission of its final version.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Nominations are limited to one per advisor. The nomination package includes the nomination form that can be found on the ICC website; the form needs to be completed and uploaded through the award portal on PaperCept.<\/span><\/p>\n

Submission Deadline: <\/span><\/b>October 5, 2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Procedure:<\/span><\/b> The BSPA (Best Student Paper Award) nomination is a two-step process:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Complete the nomination form<\/u><\/a>.<\/strong> Once filled, save\/print it as a PDF file. This PDF will be used in Step 2. You may update your responses in the form anytime before the deadline.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Submit via the \u201cAward Application\u201d Portal in Papercept.<\/strong> Click \u201cSubmit\u201d<\/strong> and follow the on-screen instructions to create an official student nomination. Upload the PDF generated in Step 1 as part of the submission.<\/span><\/p>\n

To remain eligible for the award, the nominated student must present the paper at the conference.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
